DAY TWENTY-EIGHT

WISDOM & UNDERSTANDING

Scripture References:

John 16:13 (NKJV)

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”

Proverbs 3:5 - 6 (NKJV)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Psalm 16:7 – 8 (TPT)

“The way You counsel and correct me makes me praise You more, for Your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next.  Because You are close to me and always available, my confidence will never be shaken, for I experience Your wrap-around presence every moment.”

Prayer:

Father, thank You that the Spirit of truth abides in Pastors and continually guides them into all truth.  Therefore, they have perfect knowledge of every situation and every circumstance in their lives.  They do not lean on their own understanding, but in all their ways they acknowledge You and You direct their paths.  Thank You that Your counsel and correction cause them to praise You more, and that Your whispers in the night give them wisdom, showing them what to do next.  Because You are close to them and always available, their confidence will never be shaken.  I pray that they experience Your wrap-around presence every moment.
