GIFTINGS AND CALLINGS

“So God has appointed some in the church [for His own use]: first apostles, (special messengers); second prophets (inspired preachers and expounders); third teachers; then wonder-workers; then those with ability to heal the sick; helpers; administrators; [speakers in] different (unknown) tongues.”

“…You are so passionate about embracing the manifestations of the Holy Spirit!  Now become even more passionate about the things that strengthen the entire church.”

“And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ.”

Prayer:

Father, thank You that Pastors Thomas and Carolyn were appointed in the church for Your own use.  I recognize and cherish the apostolic, prophetic, teaching, miracle-working, healing, helping and administrative anointings upon them.  I thank You that they are baptized in the Holy Spirit, speaking in other tongues, edifying themselves and me.

I thank You that they know they are in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing at Your direction.  They look to You at all times for all things, and teach me to do the same.
