Introduction

This year being the 30-year anniversary of Word of Life Christian Fellowship, we must understand it is our responsibility and utmost privilege to pray for our Pastors

As we begin our 30-day prayer challenge to pray for our Pastors, it’s important to remember that Pastors Thomas and Carolyn have been placed here by God.  You’ve heard Pastor Thomas say time and time again, he’s on assignment here in New Hampshire.  Pastors know they are in the right place at the right time doing the right thing, and they aren’t planning on going anywhere anytime soon.

There is a lot of work to do here and Pastors need our prayers, our support, and our cooperation with them and with each other; all of us working together.  So, we commit to stand in one accord, to lift and strengthen them, believing with Pastors to walk in the fullness of God’s plan, each of us has a part, doing what is right, and following Pastor’s lead.  May we, as the Church be grateful, and appreciate all their hard work and may we support them in all their efforts!

Most of these promises are for everyone.  We can confess and believe for these things to be active and alive in our life as well as in Pastors’ lives.

Ephesians 5:20 (TPT)

“Always give thanks to Father God for every person He brings into your life in the name of our Lord Jesus.”

Father God brought Pastors into your life and you into Pastors’ lives!  Aren’t you glad!!!!

A WORD OF WISDOM BEFORE WE BEGIN:

It is of utmost importance that as we commit to pray for pastors, that we keep our hearts right and that we don’t let the enemy in.  The following are scriptures we should pray over ourselves:

Psalm 141:3 – 4 (AMP)

“Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips. Incline my heart not to submit or consent to any evil thing or to be occupied in deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.”

Psalm 141:9 – 10 (AMP)

“Keep me from the trap which they have laid for me, and the snares of evildoers.  Let the wicked fall together into their own nets, while I pass over them and escape.”

Psalm 139:23 – 24 (AMP)

“Search me [thoroughly] O God, and know my heart!  Try me and know my thoughts!  And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Philippians 4:8 – 9 (TPT)

“So keep my thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind.  And fasten my thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always.  Following the example of all that You have imparted to us and the God of peace will be with me in all things.”
